While it doesn’t have Terminal Velocity’s sharp turns, it does throw up checkpoints in unexpected places. Tour is a warm-up for the final race and sends you through Washington Beach and Vice Point on the longest track so far. The opponent AI tends to drive recklessly, and you can try causing an accident or even flipping them over the guardrail if you don’t feel like dealing with competition. It’s another lengthy track, but the opening portion is a gauntlet of sorts across one of Vice Point’s bridges. Most of them can’t handle the initial sharp turns very well, and it’s easy to leave them behind within the first few seconds of the race starting.Ĭapital Cruise is essentially a Vice Point rerun of the Ocean Beach race, with one slight difference. You’ll cover the entirety of Little Haiti and Little Havana and outdrive three other competitors - which is easier than it sounds. This one combines the first race’s tight turns and the second one’s lengthy track.

Since the majority of the race is on straight roads, you’re free to hit top speed and leave them behind. You’ll likely overtake the competitors within a few seconds, as they’re usually more concerned with running into each other than actually striving to win. You’ll do one long circuit around Ocean Beach’s main road, and the biggest surprises are just the hairpin turns at the halfway and end points. The next race is in Ocean Beach, and it’s more straightforward. They’ll take sharp corners at high speed and careen out of control frequently.
You’ll miss out on raw speed for a few seconds, but your opponents’ AI and handling aren’t the brightest.
The circuit has plenty of tight turns and chances to collide with opponents and pedestrians. Terminal Velocity is a circuit around the Escobar Airport, and it’s a tricky challenge, despite being the first Vice Street Racer competition. However you go about it, you can retry Vice Street Racer challenges as many times as you need. Just make sure you don’t hurt anyone else in the process, lest you attract unwanted police attention. It’s a guaranteed way to come in first place. You can also drive up to the event site and use a rocket launcher to destroy your opponents before driving onto the start point and beginning the race. You can choose your own car for each race, so we recommend picking one of the fastest cars, such as Infernus or the Cheetah. No cheating allowed, in other words, or at least, not in that sense. These are all straightforward races pitting Tommy against several other opponents to see who wins first, and you need to pass through the checkpoints along the way.
